About Albuquerque, NM - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Albuquerque, New Mexico is a lovely diverse city with amenities and conveniences of the big city and a laidback desert feel. It provides the best of all worlds. The weather is always warm, of course, and so are the people.  With a population of about 600,000, it is big without being overwhelming.  It began as a farming community which was strategically located as a military outpost as well as a sheep-herding center. Spain established a military barracks in 1706.  This is when the town officially counts itself as being established. Throughout 2005 and 2006, the city put on many festivities in honor of its tercentennial. 300 years is certainly worth celebrating. The town was alive with a diverse program of cultural, arts and historical events that celebrated the beautiful and unique local culture.

Tourists will not be disappointed in what this town has to offer. This culture is undeniably rare and nothing like anywhere else in the US. Influenced by Spanish and Mexican cultures, as well as American, it is an amazing and special blend of many cultures, cuisines, languages, dialects, histories and more.  Spend a beautiful warm New Mexico day enjoying the local flora and fauna at Albuquerque Biological Park, or (if you are looking to stay cool indoors) check out local history at the Albuquerque Museum. Old Town Albuquerque is also a must-see.

The warm desert climate makes chiles a common local crop. And, because of that, the local cuisine is unique in that the locals take great pride in their green chile recipes. They put green chile on almost everything and anything and you can get anything from a green chile burger to a green chile omelet to a green chile chicken breast.  Even national fast-food chains add green chile to their menu when they come to town.  You simply won’t find a menu in the area that does not include the local favorite ingredient.  It adds a kick of spice and a local flair that both locals and visitors love.
