About Bernalillo, NM - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Bernalillo is a small town with lots of history and personality.   It is a typical New Mexico town with beautiful landscapes and lovely weather year round.  But, it is special because the residents have given the town such personality and they embrace their local culture with fervor. For over a century, locals have been sharing ghost stories and urban legends about the town and its residents.   Most of the stories center on the Santa Ana Star Casino, which is said to be haunted by a giggling little boy.   Before the casino, there was a graveyard there, or so they say… But, it’s all rumor and there is no proof of any of this.

The wine industry in Bernalillo blew up in the 17th century when the wine grape was first introduced to the area.  The arid, temperate climate makes this the perfect area for vineyards and, over the years, this area has embraced a wine heritage and culture unique to this specific part of the world.  Each year, the town hosts the New Mexico Wine festival on Labor Day. The event brings in citizens from all over the state New Mexico, and the nation.   This event has provided funding for local initiatives and brings the citizens a great deal of pride.  Wine is a way of life in this part of the world.

The town’s proximity to the big city of Albuquerque also makes it attractive to families and commuters looking for a quiet way of life at home.  This is a great place to raise kids.  There are many local parks, pools and other facilities where they can enjoy the beautiful weather, and the pace is slow and quiet.   But, just a quick drive away are the Albuquerque Biological Park, the Albuquerque Museum, fine dining, shopping, and art galleries.  It’s the best of both worlds.
