About Edgewood, NM - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Edgewood's a small town with a lot of heart not far outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Homesteaders moving into the American West created the early settlements that blossomed into what is now a suburb with character and charm. The best part, however, is that just a quick drive will get you right into the middle of the big city. The beautiful weather, year-round, means that you can also head over to the town of Corrales for a more rural experience pretty much any day of the year. Edgewood sits right in the center of this conversion of cultures and is a great place to call home.
The town’s Father's Day Car Show is an annual tradition that has been going on for over ten years. It has become one of the largest free car shows in the southwest and features a wide variety of vehicles, free food, giveaways, a silent auction and more. The event’s proceeds fund the Edgewood Mobile Food Pantry. The sense of community spirit and fellowship in the town is really special and why people love to visit. The desert climate is also great for retirees and kids.
The population of about 4,000 is spread out over about 1,500 households and the residents are generally middle class workers with families. The climate is temperate all year and the general atmosphere is of family-oriented. But, medical care, museums, galleries, dining options, malls and more are not a long drive at all. Albuquerque and Rio Rancho are right nearby. The landscapes and weather make the area attractive to farmers but many residents commute in and out of the larger cities, enjoying a quiet pace of life at home while pursuing their careers elsewhere.
