Sunshine Plumbing & Heating is looking for a Crew Lead to lead field crews completing wet site utility and residential sewer/water work around Albuquerque. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will excavate, install and repair pipe, operate equipment, complete concrete and asphalt work, direct and train Crew Helpers, manage the truck and tools, complete daily logs, and make sure the crew finishes the day's priorities safely, correctly and efficiently.
What you'll do
- Lead the crew's daily work, assign tasks to Crew Helpers, check progress and make sure the day's priorities get completed.
- Perform and lead excavation/backfill, water and sewer pipe installation and repair, services and taps, fire lines, hydrants, risers, compaction and related utility work.
- Operate equipment and lead concrete, asphalt, restoration and jobsite cleanup work.
- Train Crew Helpers, give clear instructions, verify their work and help them improve their field skills and efficiency.
- Complete accurate daily logs and communicate production, delays, safety concerns, crew performance and job needs to the Field Superintendent.
- Manage the crew's truck, trailer, tools, equipment and materials so they stay clean, organized, stocked and ready for work.
- Lead jobsite safety, point out hazards immediately and keep the crew working safely and productively.

- Crew Helpers know what they are responsible for, stay productive and improve their skills over time.
- Daily logs and field communication are accurate, useful and completed on time.

- You lead by example in safety, urgency, quality, respect and ownership.
What we're looking for
- Strong underground utility/construction experience with the ability to lead excavation, pipe, backfill, concrete, asphalt and restoration work.
- Experience safely operating construction equipment and working around trenches, utilities and traffic-control conditions.
- A dependable leader who can give clear direction, train people, hold standards and communicate problems early.
- Someone who works hands-on with the crew, plans ahead and looks for more efficient ways to complete the work without cutting corners.
- Able to complete daily documentation and manage company trucks, tools, equipment and materials responsibly.

Sunshine Plumbing & Heating is looking for a Crew Member to help our field crews complete wet site utility and residential sewer/water work around Albuquerque. You will work alongside a Crew Lead doing the hands-on work that keeps projects moving: digging, installing pipe, handling materials, assisting with concrete and asphalt, cleaning the site, and helping wherever the crew needs you. We want someone who works hard, listens, learns, speaks up, and cares about getting the job done safely and efficiently.
What you'll do
- Follow the Crew Lead's direction and help complete the day's work safely, correctly and efficiently.
- Assist with excavation, hand digging, water and sewer pipe, taps, fire lines, hydrants, risers, backfill, compaction and related site utility work.
- Handle and stage tools, pipe, fittings and materials and take care of company property.
- Assist with concrete, asphalt, restoration and jobsite cleanup.
- Wear required PPE, watch for hazards, speak up about safety concerns and help keep the crew moving forward.

What we're looking for
- Reliable, on time and willing to perform physical outdoor construction work.
- Able to follow direction, work safely, communicate with the crew and stay productive throughout the day.
- Underground utility, excavation, water/sewer, concrete, asphalt or construction experience is preferred but not required for the right person.
